π‘‰π‘œπ‘–π‘™π‘ŽΜ€ is the fruit of the collaboration between French artist and photographer Rodrigue de Ferluc and electronic duo Grand 8.

π‘‰π‘œπ‘–π‘™π‘ŽΜ€ is part of a process aiming to limit the tools and materials necessary for creation based on a protocol known as "uncertainty":

Choose a material. Carry out a transient and unplanned transformation. Archive the experience. This protocol, being inherently open-source, allows anyone wishing to use it for artistic purposes to be answerable only to themselves.

The Polaroids in the π‘‰π‘œπ‘–π‘™π‘ŽΜ€ series were created by Rodrigue de Ferluc between 2017 and 2021. They are reproduced here in their original format.

During a residency in Caen in November 2021, Rodrigue de Ferluc transmitted his uncertainty protocol to the improvised music duo Grand 8, who interpreted it to establish their own creative constraints. 32 improvised tracks were composed and recorded during the residency.
